My master thesis topic is to sketch with traditional art graphics methods and convert the sketch into textile patterns. The aim is to expand and compare the similarities and differences between textile design and artistic drafting. My idea is to look at how the most creative methods in the context of art could enrich and bring new information into textile design. What is the meaning of sketching when the goal is an industrial production instead of an artefact? Also I want to try new tools for textile design and sketching.

The textile I am presenting is woven fabric and it’s designed on the basis of the serigraphy sketching.
